Alliance supporting Black-owned enterprises launches with $1 million from TCF Lender

A small business coalition aimed at supporting Black-owned firms in Metro Detroit introduced Friday with $1 million in aid from TCF Bank.

The Metro-Detroit Black Company Alliance handles Wayne, Oakland and Macomb counties and will be headed by Charity Dean, who still left her post before this thirty day period as the director of the city’s Workplace of Civil Rights, Inclusion and Option.
