Illinois business operator claims he could not survive yet another shutdown

CASEY, Unwell. (WTHI) – The operator of Brownie’s Spot in Casy, Illinois says his organization or employees could not survive one more shutdown.

“When we had been shut down the to start with time we did dinners and suppers and we delivered to companies in city and to people. Just to preserve a thing going so my staff would have a career,” explained Steve Brown.

Brown states he had to search for authorized aid to continue to keep his business afloat for the duration of the midst of the pandemic.

“It came to a level exactly where we were being possibly heading to have to shut down and just close or we was gonna have to do anything. So I employed a law firm,” says Brown.

He states when they have been seeking him to shut down his in-door dining owing to the pandemic, he just could not do it for economic good reasons.

“Like any other firms if we shut down again we’re not going to make it so I resolved and went back again to that attorney we did our paperwork and we stayed open,” reported Brown.

He states he’s getting safety measures to maintain both buyers and staff members users secured.

“We do almost everything we can in there, I mean we clear and sanitize amongst everyone all over. we do everything majorly of an night to make positive every single bodies safe,” states Brown.

Brown claims COVID-19 just isn’t likely everywhere, anytime shortly. He adds so individuals really should just get utilized to the new normal.

“I am not saying I am not terrified about it but at some place in time you have to go on living or your just gonna be curled up in a corner worried to walk all over your individual shadow,” reported Brown.

Brown tells me he has not gained any force back from his group. He adds that no one at Brownie’s Spot has gotten COVID-19.
