Indian rupee: Rupee slips by 5 paise to 74.37 versus US dollar

MUMBAI: The Indian rupee depreciated 5 paise to 74.37 against the US greenback in opening trade on Thursday tracking the strength of the greenback and sturdy crude oil charges. At the interbank foreign trade, the rupee opened at 74.37 against the dollar, registering a drop of 5 paise about its past close.

On Wednesday, the rupee had settled at 74.32 in opposition to the US dollar.
