Live current market updates: The benchmark indices slid over 2 for each cent in Monday’s early morning deals as India continued to report a file spike in daily Covid-19 situations. India recorded over 2.75 lakh new Covid instances in past 24 hours, as per Worldometer.
The S&P BSE Sensex traded about 47,720 concentrations, down 1,100 factors, and the Nifty50 index hovered around the 14,300-mark. IndusInd Lender fell 5 for every cent and was the best Sensex laggard, adopted by Condition Bank of India, Bajaj Auto, Bajaj Fiannce, and ICICI Bank (down 4% each).
The Nifty sectoral indices were painted red, with Nifty PSU Bank index, down 5 for each cent, bleeding the most.
