Native American enterprise operator rips ‘hypocritical’ protesters for disrupting pipeline work in Minnesota

2 min read

A Minnesota enterprise operator is defending his construction web site right after hundreds of “hypocritical” protesters stormed in and ruined his home.

Matt Gordon, vice president of his family’s construction firm in Mahnomen, Minnesota, and a member of the White Earth Nation tribe, informed “Fox & Close friends” Wednesday, environmental protesters – some saying to discuss for Indigenous Us citizens – vandalized his company’s equipment.

“It is really incredibly hypocritical to travel somewhere to protest oil when you might be using…gas and diesel-powered automobiles,” Gordon remarked. “Then when you do get there, you conclusion up destroying machines, leaving particles and rubbish all above, most of them plastic products from h2o bottles and packaging.”

“Though we respect everybody’s ideal to peacefully and lawfully protest, that is not what occurred. Protesters tried to trap workers while forcefully moving into and then occupying the web-site, trespassing and criminally harming the property. This is unacceptable, and we will look for the full prosecution of all of those involved,” Enbridge pointed out in a assertion.
