Petersburg shop operator suggests thief has been in his enterprise right before

PETERSBURG, Va. — A Petersburg mechanic is receiving fed up with the continual theft of car parts and hard cash from his small business.

Ronnie Walker claimed a January 16 split-in was fully commited by another person who have to have been inside his business enterprise before.

“He’s just tearing items up,” Walker reported. “He broke this one particular initial [pointing to a window].”

The thief was in and out in 60 seconds.

He pulled up the bay doorway and went straight to Walker’s hard cash box at his vehicle shop at the corner of Wagner and Crater Streets.

Safety online video showed the criminal knew wherever to locate the extra keys and tried opening at minimum two safes.

“He understood particularly wherever the funds drawer was, ripped it out for probably $6 or $7,” claimed Walker.

And that is not the only wrench thrown into operating the organization these days.

Walker, who rents the developing, also has to fend off burglars who come in the cover of darkness and take parts off of automobiles on the lot ready to be mounted.

“The men and women out there that want to steal, I might relatively you appear talk to me simply because I would give,” Walker said. “I’d give you anything to save you from hurting anyone else, if you can’t get what you want from me.”

“It can be costing me $600 to $700 to repair service, and it really is to the level now where by law enforcement are executing all they can do,” Walker claimed. “I mean, I know they just can’t maintain circling all around my position.”
