Trump ‘incited supporters to threaten to kill my children’

The assaults on Schmidt’s family members were being accelerated by a November tweet that was posted on the previous president’s now-disabled Twitter account.

“A dude named Al Schmidt, a Philadelphia Commissioner and so-identified as Republican (RINO), is getting used large time by the Phony News Media to make clear how truthful points ended up with regard to the Election in Philadelphia,” Trump tweeted. “He refuses to seem at a mountain of corruption & dishonesty. Final month, Schmidt introduced that he would not run for reelection in 2023 and insisted that the Pennsylvania vote count was “free of charge and truthful,” even with the relentless stream of debunked election-linked conspiracy theories from the former president.
