1 min readOverseas exchange pupils were honored in the course of the the latest Littlestown Space University District (LASD) Board meeting.
The district hosted 4 foreign exchange pupils this faculty 12 months. The 4 pupils are Maria “Duda” Marton from Brazil, Florence Vandersluys from France, Riko Kambayashi from Japan, and Anna Titova from Russia. All 4 learners spoke about their studying practical experience in Littlestown during the assembly.
The learners attended Littlestown Place Large University by means of the AYUSA Exchange program and had been in the district for the 2021-2022 faculty calendar year and all will be returning to their indigenous countries in the coming months.
The pupils offered flags from their home countries to the board. The college students will write unique messages on the flags and the flags will be hung for pupils and people to see. Deborah Bowers, a educating assistant in just the district and the local local community consultant for AYUSA, was thanked for her ongoing services to the pupil overseas exchange plan.
Board President Dolores Nester claimed the success of the foreign exchange program is a testomony to the achievement of the faculty district.
“Having students from all over the environment in our district not only benefits the viewing college students but also benefits our regional learners by allowing them to expertise different cultures, it is a win-earn for all,” explained Nester.
